Jerry Whaley, an internationally published writer, photographer and Getty Images contributor from Sevierville, Tennessee, uses his iPhone, digital SLR cameras & a 4x5 large-format field camera to capture the rich diversity of images in and around the Southern Appalachian Mountains region, with a special emphasis on the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. He considers this region a unique photographic treasure that he enjoys sharing with others through his images. Jerry is a regular contributor to the Smoky Mountain Journal of Photography. He offers custom instructional & field guide services for small groups through the Smoky Mountain School of Photography. Jerry’s images are marketed worldwide by Getty Images & several other stock photo agencies, including age.fotostock and Alamy.
